As a certified Pilates instructor, I offer private lessons at my Bend studio, in your home studio, or virtually. For the last decade, I’ve been committed to the study, practice and teaching of Classical Pilates. I am continually drawn to the benefits of this multi-faceted method that offers a way to strengthen your core and entire body through a mind-body connection.

I have worked with individuals of all skill levels and athletic backgrounds, witnessing remarkable changes in the bodies. Integrating Pilates into their training routines has been transformative for both their athletic performance and longevity. Classical Pilates

The practice of Classical Pilates refers to exercising according to the original work designed by Joseph and Clara Pilates with little or no deviation. The traditional order repeatedly recruits specific muscle firing patterns, challenging the body’s movement by changing the center of gravity and surface stability. This approach allows for strength to accumulate quickly, creating significant changes to the body.

Contemporary Pilates methods have no order, effectively compromising the purpose and integrity of the original method. Only the classical method follows the original order and has retained its relevance through time.

Services

Introductory Consultation

Gain an understanding of Classical Pilates and engage in an introductory session that will introduce you to this exercise method. Enjoy a complementary private 30-minute session with Carol in her studio, at your home studio, or via video.

Private Sessions

This one-on-one experience allows your instructor to design a program around your unique needs. An individualized session is the most effective way to focus on your individual strengths, flexibility, and balance. Private one-on-one sessions can include work on the Reformer, Mat, Tower, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Ped-O-Pull. 

Duet Sessions

Reap the benefits of private apparatus Pilates classes with the motivation that comes from training with an exercise partner at a reduced cost. Duets work best when you and your partner can commit to the same schedule and have similar physical abilities or goals.
